Ten years later and the Music Tapes and the Gerbils are the only Elephant 6 bands that I still listen to regularly. I'd never seen this video, it is wonderful:

Although I never really got into the so-called Elephant 6 collective,I've always appreciated the enigma that is Neutral Milk Hotel.
ReplyDeleteYeah- I used to really love a lot of the Elephant 6 bands. Of Montreal, Apples in Stereo and Olivia Tremor Control were my favorites. But I never listen to any of them anymore.
