love'n it

Lyrics:Klaus Meine
In the dirty old city
There is my home
There's my home, there's my home
There is my home
Nothing really looks pretty
And I've been alone
I've been alone, I've been alone
I've been alone
And in my heart
Many wishes are crying
Living and dying
And in my heart
Many wishes are crying
Living and dying
In the house of darkness
There's a magic stone
Magic stone, magic stone
The magic stone
But I couldn't find it
'Cause the shine is gone
Shine is gone, shine is gone
The shine is gone
And in my heart
Many wishes are crying
Living and dying
And in my heart
Many wishes are crying
Living and dying

Living and dying
Living and dying

Saw it with my own two eyes.

Random searches for "Mac Dawg" can be quite educational:

Bookstore online.

An old friend of mine, Shannon Moore, is running an online bookstore on Amazon, check it out:

Still one of the greats.

Mack White sticks in my head. Forever and ever. I met him once in Austin. He was super nice and a real gentleman. Exactly what you'd expect. His art just keeps on getting better and better. He has a great website with a bunch of blog stuff and music:

I love the way the spine of the magazine creates a wall between the family. Thanks to Skip Williamson's facebook for the photo. Basically that dude's facebook is an O.G. Bad Apple blog.

dead people

This movie is weird and creepy but very cool. Also known as 'Messiah of Evil'. Featured in the Nightmare USA book by Stephen Thrower (an awesome bible/tome about independent American horror of the 70's and 80's).

You can watch the whole movie on YouTube. Definitely has an Argento/Euro flavor. Ending is a bit of a let down, but it's worth checking out.

For real.

On an unrelated note.

The above quote is from Steve Ditko. I just read a hilariously stupid internets post about how blogs that only link to things are just a waste of time. Or at least ones that are full of garbage. Deal with it. We're here to share stuff.

Why is this the best thing ever? Ishihara-Gojin:

This book looooks amazing. Like Pheobe Gloeckner does manga:
